About Us

Poshy Peacock was created by Tamara Galloway, a native from Asheville, NC from a love of peacock’s and fashion all balled up into one. I love clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. Poshy Peacock started in my basement, then grew to three pop up boutique locations.  It was time to start this leap of faith branching out with its own website.  

My other passion is finding these great items in the thrill of the hunt. You never know what you will find, which is the true joy of it for me.    In addition to my full time career, I work part time for the past 18 years for a jewelry wholesaler at the tradeshow market circuit.  This experience showed there are little to no trendy larger sizes (size large to 3X) in this market.  There is a saturation in the market of trendy fashionable clothes in smaller sizes but not in the realistic sizes of the greater population or if they do have larger sizes the choices are very limited. My searches are here to share some some great quality items.
